Green Day started their Revolution Radio promotional tour at the 1,700-capacity Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio with a “Bang Bang.”
The lead single from upcoming album started the set, followed by the album’s title track. From there, Green Day meandered through their back catalog and even threw in a Stones-Beatles medley: “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” and “Revolution.” The concert went off without a hitch following three canceled opening dates on the club tour due to a health issue in the band.

Green Day devotees should be glad to know that American Idiot and more made appearances during the show: “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life),” a Green Day touchstone from Nimrod, was the second encore.
Revolution Radio comes out October 7.
