Green Day’s documentary Heart Like A Hand Grenade is coming to a theater near you.
The film will distributed throughout the United States on about 135 screens beginning on October 15th, Vimeo gets exclusive OnDemand rights for the following day and the documentary will be available for purchase on November 13th.

The film, which was directed by John Roecker, takes fans behind the scenes during the creation and promotion of American Idiot.
Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong shared his excitement about what many consider a “lost film.”
“We can’t believe this was shot over a decade ago,” said Armstrong in a prepared statement. “Little did we know this was only the beginning of the adventure this record would go on to be. We are stoked for our fans to see this footage for the first time and watch us try and figure it all out.”
